The request succeeded and deliberately has no body.
What causes it
- A successful DELETE; a PUT that returns nothing; a form save handled by JavaScript.
How to fix it
- A 204 must not have a body. Sending one confuses HTTP/1.1 clients about message framing.
- If your `fetch` code throws parsing JSON, guard on `response.status === 204` before calling `.json()`.
