Cloudflare-specific: the TCP handshake with the origin never completed.
What causes it
- Packet loss, an overloaded origin, or a firewall dropping (not rejecting) packets.
How to fix it
- Check origin load and firewall rules; a drop shows as a timeout rather than a refusal.
