524 A Timeout Occurred
Cloudflare-specific: the connection succeeded but the origin did not respond within 100 seconds.
What causes it
- A long-running request — a report, an export, a large upload being processed inline.
How to fix it
- Move the work to a background job and return immediately, or put the endpoint on a subdomain that bypasses the proxy.
